Well for one, people my age will say 'here's the lowdown'. That means they're about to share some information.

Here's another one: 'fake me out'. It means to be tricked.

What's funny is, a lot of the slang we used when I was a kid, I still hear people use nowadays too. Some things stuck around, others didn't.

Well, I would say "Bucky is giving me a hairy eyeball", and it means he's giving me a mean look, like he's mad at me or something.
