[jan said "pc with me" so it's happening even though i don't know where they're going or what they're doing

anyway, after they've both had some time to explore a little, meet their roommates, and get some sleep (hopefully), yona comes across virid. she's drinking something from a mug (to help soothe her hecked-up voice from breathing in a ton of smoke at her canonpoint), but when she spots him, she raises her free hand to wave.]

Virid, there you are! Are you feeling a little better today?

[he was kind of looking for her, actually, so this works out well for him. he waves back with one hand, his other holding some flowers from the woods.]

Oh... Yona! Yes, I'm feeling better now. Thank you.

Good! That's a relief.

[one less thing to worry about, anyway.]

[he nods. after a pause, he holds out the flowers to her.]

Um... for you. As thanks for patching me up yesterday.

[oh! how sweet. she smiles, taking the flowers and bringing them up to smell them.]

These are beautiful... thank you.

[he smiles slightly.]

I'm glad you like them. There isn't much else around here, unfortunately...

I'll have to see if I can find something to put them in. I don't think they'll fit in those tiny cups from the shop...

[shot glasses, yona. those are shot glasses.]

... Oh. I didn't think about that.

It's okay, I'm sure I'll find something!

[she'll steal a water bottle. wait. crap. jan do i have to go log that on the thievery comment.]

... You're very resourceful, aren't you, Yona?

I try to be! Sometimes I look at something and think, "What could Yoon use this for?" and it helps me think of a lot of different ideas.

...oh, Yoon is a friend of mine from home!

Oh...? What is he like? He sounds reliable.

[dawnblushed]

He's one of the most reliable people I know.

[yona smiles. ah, yoon. if only he was here. where's a mom friend when they need one.]

If there's something you want to learn how to do, chances are, Yoon knows how to do it. He has a whole bunch of different skills, and he's always working hard to learn more. Also, he's a great cook!

That's really impressive...! You two must be good friends.

He's become like family to me. I'm really lucky to know him.

Family, huh...? How did you meet?

He helped me out when I was in some trouble. We've been traveling together since then.

Do you not have a home?

yona's expression falls at that. but after a moment, she shakes her head and lightly thwaps her cheeks with her palms. this isn't the time to get depressed.]

My home is where my friends are.

[favourable]

So you just... travel the world with them?

[dawnblushed]

[she nods]

Yes, that's right.

Just to see the sights? Or...

[her expression sort of flickers again, but it's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it sort of thing]

...we want to be able to help people. So, we go to wherever we hear there's trouble.

... That's very kind of you. So you're like... wandering heroes, then?

I don't know about that. We're just doing what we can, where we can.
