So... he was your first friend since you started travelling?

The first friend I made that started traveling with me, yes. I made some other friends in a village I passed through beforehand, though.

Mhm. I've seen a lot more of Kouka than I ever expected to.

What's it like? Travelling, in general.

Hmm... well, it took a little getting used to. My feet used to hurt a lot, and I'd wake up sore after camping out. But there's a lot of freedom in being able to go anywhere.

Without having to worry about finding accommodation or fitting things to a schedule? ... It does sound very freeing.

I feel like I've accomplished a lot more since I left home, though. And the things I didn't like about it at first have made me a lot stronger.

Most people do, don't they? There's a big weight put on "leaving home and finding yourself", or something along those lines.

Sometimes it's just moving to a different city to settle down, but... moving for work isn't so uncommon.
