[The reason for his swole arms: his bow probably weighs as much as a human child.]

With a knife this size, it will still take a while to make... but first we must find a proper length of wood with a strong, straight grain. Then we'll carve out the design.

[So deceptively simple.]

Do you know how much your draw-weight is, Yona?

[GOOD ENOUGH, Chiron is far smarter than I so he does mental things inside his half-horse noggin until:]

A maple bow might be the best fit for you then, assuming we can find the tree here.

If not, hickory or red oak would also suffice...

[Again, assuming those trees are even around. If nothing, he has at least five backup plans, it's fine]

Come; we'll take a walk in the forest and see what we can find.

Yes, it's quite beautiful. The trees are a bit different from the ones in Greece, but...

[It's still very familiar to him, being out here. His footing is surefooted despite his size, with Chiron practically melting between the greenery like he's one with it]

-- Ah. Over there. I think that maple will do nicely.

[Pointing out one of the trees to their right as they walk.]

Yes...

[He's already got his eye on one of the higher branches, actually, and after a moment of thought:]

Stand back for a moment, please.

[Very good.

Because after placing his bow on the ground, Chiron is going to stand on his hind legs and brace his front hooves on the tree trunk in question.

And this poor tree groans from all of that weight it must suddenly bear, but Chiron works quickly by reaching up and grabbing one of the thicker branches he had his eyes on, making sure his balance is surefooted before ripping it clean off like a toothpick.

With his prize procured, he'll twist and land back with his hooves on the ground, stomping a little to get his bearings]

Alright, here we are.

I've had a lot of training.

[... Well, he's not technically lying. Though once he's back on his legs, he'll glance between Yona and the branch in his hand]

Yes, this height should do nicely...

[He just hopes the poor kitchen knife can keep up with him.]

I will show you how to make a bow from this, though keep in mind much of it will be me carving. [So... not particularly interesting to watch]

Mm, that is true.

[Having an assistant while he works is beneficial... and admittedly, reminds him of the times he'd send his students through the forests on small errands.

His smile ticks up]

Very well. I'll have you assist as necessary. Regardless, your bow will be finished in two days' at most.
