[ Considering Snow's personal love of Sumire there is no long con here for that murder. But Hua Cheng's gaze flicks after her bow, to the trees, and he can't say he's surprised. Maybe some would say it's in poor taste, but if that's the only outlet she has, then who are they to judge, anyways?
... but is it her only outlet?
He nods his understanding, but comes closer to her. And then bops her in the shoulder with a fist, lightly, enough to give her a nudge, before drawing back. Head cocked, he takes a step back - and then beckons slightly, with the same hand. ]
[I mean, yeah, it probably is in poor taste considering Shiro, but she's really not thinking about Shiro at all right now. (Sorry, Shiro.)
She looks briefly surprised when he bops her shoulder and draws back. That beckoning hand... ah, she gets it. She sets her bow down somewhere safe, where she won't accidentally step on it later and break it -
And a moment later, she launches herself forward to deliver a spinning kick. Yeet!]
[ Me, filling out Shiro's CR chart: oh nooo, sorry Shiro. (Take your daisies with you to the grave.)
But, good. They don't have to speak like this, or try and play charades or use their PHS notes, but it's still - communicating. Yona getting height like that is a little surprising, but there's an airy laugh. He blocks with his bracer, rather than a softer part of his arm, because he can tell from the momentum that he'd regret doing that almost immediately.
At least it puts her within range. He goes to grab her ankle, for a yeet of his own. ]
[Yona is easy to yeet - she's very lightweight. Most people don't go for her ankle when she kicks them (surprisingly, perhaps), so she doesn't think to guard there.
She hits the ground hard, but.
She's used to that, so up she goes again - to charge straight at him once more. But this time, she pivots at the last moment and aims a kick for his side.]
[ The fact that it's only the two of them, to account for this fight, may come to bite them in the future.
But Hua Cheng focuses instead on the fight itself, pivoting to follow where she hits the ground, preparing for the next move. Digs heels in, when she comes for him, and finds himself glad for it. She hits him, with her kick - a good one, he'll absolutely bruise, which is a novel concept these days - but at least he can trap her leg, with one arm.
A sweep for the gut with the other hand, straight-edged like a blade rather than a fist. ]
[That's going to leave an oddly-shaped bruise that is going to be very fun to explain away at strip checks. Thank you for this gift, Snow.]

[She doubles over, but doesn't quite drop to the ground since he's got her leg trapped. The blow knocks the wind out of her, and, wheezing, she struggles to catch her breath.
She also makes a grab for his wrist, intending to yank him downward in a bid to use the momentum to throw him off-balance.]
[ I'm glad that we could get a few "what the heck" reactions during the related strip checks, it's a treat.
But he does keep his grip on her, because he doesn't trust her, otherwise. If he let go, where would that leg fly once she caught her breath? Not that it matters - she's clever for getting out of the situation.
He's supporting her weight, so it's easy for her to leverage that against him when he's not intending to do actual, hard damage. But he lets the momentum take him, letting go of her leg and tumbling - rolling, popping back up to his feet
with twigs and leaves in his hair. Hua Cheng snorts, and then airily laughs. ]
Also, Hua Cheng is absolutely right not to trust her. If her leg had come loose, she'd have kicked him - but since he doesn't, trying to throw him is good enough. He goes down and then pops back up.
The sight of the twigs and leaves in his hair shouldn't be as funny as it is, but Yona finds herself giggling anyway.]
