I learned how to fight with a sword, and to shoot a bow. I'd been practicing almost every day, and it feels good each time I manage to learn to do something new.

But! I've been able to use them for other things, too. One time, there were people taking bets on where people would be able to hit a target, and everyone but my... friend thought I was going to miss. I hit the center, and it made him smile.

You and Eiji would have been good friends. I think there wasn't anyone he couldn't get along with, not unless you happened to be a terribly bad person. But even then, he was polite.
