yona knows basically nothing about technology. which of course means that even when she does manage to track down the room she's in (after some time wandering around and reading the nameplates), she... does not actually realize she needs to put her phs over the reader above the doorknob?
so here she stands, like an idiot, trying to wrench the door open by the doorknob.]
Come on...!
[her voice sounds aggravated, but also a little bit raspy? and her clothing is singed and smells faintly of smoke, so uh, have fun with that, blanca.]
Surprisingly, he approaches rather quietly from behind her, though he does stop a few feet back. He watches her struggle with the door for a second, or two.]
That's definitely easier than trying to kick the door off its hinges.]
So you're... Blanca, then?
[Time to head into what is ostensibly their room! Oh, cool, there's two beds. They're... a little higher off the ground than she's expecting, but this feels downright roomy, compared to the tents she's used to sleeping in.]
[since blanca is looking for yona, he'll find her... she's got a wooden bow in one hand, her phs in the other, and some leaves stuck in her hair, and she seems to be reading something on the phs's screen as she walks toward where they're collecting evidence.
she spots him out of the corner of her eye and looks up, though.]
Oh - morning...
[she doesn't say "good morning" because there's nothing good about waking up to find out someone is dead.]
He looks a tad disgruntled, but more relieved to find her safe than anything else. It seems like he may have been searching for her, despite him not being out of breath.]
I don't believe any of us intended to fall asleep at all, not like that.
[GOD.]
I would prefer if you would let me know a little of where you plan to be, if it happens again. [This makes him sound like an over-bearing dad, he thinks.] I was worried is all.
anyway, he uh. he may catch her shortly after the trial, actually! because one of the first things she does is head back to their room to retrieve her bow and arrows.
she looks kind of upset. maybe she's heading out to blow off some steam!]
[backdated because yona would have done this monday if i wasn't a corpse,,,
Anyway, once Yona is done getting up to shenanigans with her new roommate, she sets out to search the inn for her old one. Thank goodness for nameplates! She'll track Blanca down one way or another.
Either by running into him in the hall, or by knocking on her door once she finds his name.]
[The north area is pretty neat, isn't it? There's plenty of places to get up to trouble in, too. But for now - hopefully there's no trouble! Instead, as they're both exploring the new location, Yona spots Blanca and brightens up immediately.]
Blanca! Good morning!
[Her black eye seems to have been ... healed? Okay, no. Closer inspection will show that she's just covered it up with makeup, but you'd have to look really closely to see it. (Is this an excuse for me to be totally okay with forgetting to mention it? Yes.)
Also, there's a tiny red dragon a few steps behind her.]
[He wanders over to her with a flower in his hand. Was he naughty and picked it in the garden? Yeah. It's a lily, and he offers it to her.
Also, there is a German Shepherd tagging along. He wags his tail excitedly and rushes over to start playfully sniffing on Yona! Hello!
Also what the heck. He was almost relieved, but then realizes once he's close, it's probably covered with makeup. >:| YONA, YOUR EYE. Bucky died for gun safety crimes.]
[The dog soaks up all of the attention, wagging his tail furiously. He does sit, though, to let Yona pet.
Blanca glances down at the dragon twisted around his leg. It's very cute... It's cumbersome to bend all the way down to pet it, unfortunately, since he's so tall, but the expression on his face is super fond! And he doesn't move his foot to disturb it.]
It is, yes. The smells are nice in the garden. Want to walk around?

I must insist you do not hurt yourself. [He raises a hand in front of himself in a kind of flat-i-beg-you fashion.] Allow me.

Blanca brandished a polite smile at her when they run into each other in the hallway.
He looks maybe a tad tired but gestures sat weekly effect.]
Hello, Miss Yona. How are you doing?
no subject
I'm alright. Waking up in a new room was kind of a surprise though... [To say the least.] How are you?
no subject
I'm not bad. This week feels a bit strange so far, but I can't complain.
[He feels bad saying even this much after... Sunday... He does look a tad worried about her.]
The change was a surprise. I'm a bit sad we have gone our separate ways for now. But you can still ask me for help, if you need it. With anything.

Miss Yona, hello.

Did... your roommate not want to go get them for you?

Mister Xie was a bit injured himself, unfortunately. But even so, I wouldn't have wanted to bother him. My legs work just fine.

I'm doing well. This is a nice area, isn't it?
