I didn't think he would answer me.

...so, I told the things I'd heard that made me ask him those things to someone he knew better. I'm hoping Shiro was able to get some answers out of him.

...well... one of them, I heard from Virid, the night before he died. But I wasn't sure what to make of it until I heard about splintering nova.

That's been... going around. Alphinaud heard about it too, which sort of surprised me. I'm not sure where it originated from, though.

He said that someone asked him to do what he did. He didn't want to say who it was who asked him, though, because...

[well. because they were all pretty gung-ho about Gotta Catch The Murderers And Beat Up The Villain So We Can Go Home at that point.]

...he was worried we would make assumptions about why they asked him, I think.

I wish we knew who it was who asked. In a way... that's how this whole thing started, wasn't it?

Maybe. Or maybe the monster Elsa talked about earlier was the one who started it, and - whoever asked was just doing it in response to the nova being siphoned off.

...I'm not really sure. But I do think we need to find out the entire truth so that we can figure out what to do.
