Right... but if it's blood to prevent blood, you'd think the Realm would just want us to keep searching until we found the right person, and not just cut us off and make us vote even if we don't know.

...people are resilient. They'll get used to anything, if they have to experience it often enough. But I don't think they should have to.

There's no rhyme or reason to anything The Realm does.

It depends on how common it's going to be. If this is how it's going to be and we can't stop it, people do need to face it.

If that's true, then they do - it would just be better if this wasn't how it was going to be, or if there was a way to stop it.
