Isn't it worse if it's a person? If they consciously made decisions - not like a weird monster that just does stuff because that's all it knows?

That would definitely make me angrier.

But seeing a person - even if it's to stop them from continuing to hurt someone else, it's a little harder. You know you have to do it, but that's still a person you're hurting, too.

I've gotten better at shutting it off in the moment, it's just after that it gets me.
