...I was listening for a little bit after I finished asking questions yesterday, and it seems like they're all more or less on the same page as each other. But I wonder if that's just because they were all in the same place.
Mm, I was thinking similarly. If we're to assume that everything thus far is a lie, it would mean that they could have had much longer than a week to prepare to greet us. That would be enough time to determine scripts and stories they could be in agreement with - though that might still unravel as we poke at more inane details and they're not in unison.
Alternatively, we opt not to believe them - there's a sizable threat on the horizon that would stem as a result of our lack of cooperation.
At present, the best course of action we could take would be to test what is objectively true: what results in action and reaction that is undeniable, and use that to determine the truth.

The others at least seem... agreeable enough for now. Or, the people I've met so far do, anyway. I don't think I've managed to speak with everyone just yet.

It depends on what they might have to gain from the idea of us both losing memories and being here - if some of us have especially pivotal or influential memories with important information, and it was possible to extract that information from us supernaturally....
But we'd need proof of that happening as well, instead of simply laying out the accusation without reason.
[extracting information from memories supernaturally sounds nearly impossible, but then, so does a whole bunch of people from different worlds being gathered in one place, and that's already happened. "impossible" doesn't really cut it, anymore.]

Whatever it is that's happening, there's bound to be proof of it somewhere. It will just take time to be able to identify it and gather it.

They're a little better. I've been cleaning and bandaging them every day. [with ripped up t-shirt scraps but it's fine.] My throat doesn't hurt as much as before, either. Drinking a lot of tea has helped.
