I think so. I was told that voting in the trials generates a ton of nova, so if everybody voted and people got the vote right we should have more than we had last week. So. We just have to get better about it.

Sounds right. You know how the vote has those extra sections for a person's team and stuff? That gets us nova, too. So if everybody got that part right, it'd be a ton of nova. But since not everyone knows, that's how other teams are getting more than others. I think.

Me either. I usually guess and hope it's good enough. I know people have to know what's going on or the teams wouldn't be ranked the way they are, but...other than that? I've got nothing.

Some people know more than they should. I talked to my leader, and that's not necessarily a good thing.

Mine said it was partially because people were breaking the rules too much. Sharing your team with people who aren't on the same team as you counts, from what they said. So does sharing someone else's team, even if they're already dead. So... depending on how they learned it, that could be part of why things got...

[she makes a vague hand gesture.]

Yeah. [...he frowns then.] You think people were spreading information about our deceased or even about Shima? I always thought we could share with three people a week, but maybe that changed.

Were people just not careful, you think? Is your leader okay?

...sharing other people's team without their knowledge counts too, I think, so if that person told three people but then some of those three people told other people...

They seemed like they were hurting, but when I asked what I could do to help, they just said something like tell people to stop breaking rules.

It spreads. Like a virus. [like what they're trying to avoid with the splintering. yikes!]

If that's all we can do for them right now, then we'll have to make sure people know. But I thought people knew it was three a week only.

I don't know if it's spreading, so much as it's... say you told me and two other people your team. If I told someone else who didn't already know it your team, that's four people who learned what your team was, right? Which is against the rules.

Something like that. I don't know.

Oh. I guess I didn't think about that...it doesn't really make sense to tell people other people's teams if they didn't ask you to. But if nobody else thought of it that way, you're right. That could get pretty messed up pretty fast.

They said the teams of people who have been removed from the realm count, too. So if people were talking about any of the previous victims... or even about Shima, that could have done it, too.

...if we can't even talk about that, then how do we find a solution? Shima was our best lead so far.

I think we just have to be careful about how quickly it spreads.

Hm...I don't know if this would work, but what if we found someone to designate as the info-spreader? One or two people that know certain pieces of information and spread it and know exactly where it's going. That way nobody's caught by surprise.

Well...except for the part where that leaves a lot of people out of the loop, too.

...I don't know. That could leave some people out of the loop, like you said. And it could also paint a really obvious target on the backs of people who are sharing the information.

Maybe something like a code then? [he's not great at that, but.] Or a password of some kind.

Maybe... I'll think about it. For now, it's just something to keep in mind so we can be careful.

Me either. [sigh.] For now, we'll be extra careful about what we say and what we share with each other. At least until we get things more stable.

...hopefully that will be soon. I don't like keeping secrets like this from people.
