That's putting it mildly. That was at least a few years ago now.

Yeah. I don't...remember what happened after that, but we saved Kairi. Her heart returned to her, and after Riku broke free we didn't see him again until we needed help closing the Door to Darkness.

I'm glad you were able to save her, and to see him again.

Me too. [there's a slight shake of his head.] It took a really, really long time for all of us to be together again. But it was worth it to go home with them.

That sort of thing makes everything worth it.

Yeah...that's how I feel, too. [he looks up toward the sky instead.] I know we're here to help the Realm and to fix the nova disturbance. But I want to make sure everybody gets home and back to the people who would miss them. That's not bad, is it?

Of course not. That's just as important as fixing the disturbance, I think.

Yeah. [...hm.] A lot of people would probably do anything to accomplish that, too. Including killing the others. But I still wish they'd just talk to us.

I wish that, too. But wishing isn't going to change how things are happening. All we can really do is keep doing the best we can to find another way.

Yeah. I wish I knew how that happened, but you're right. Wishing isn't going to change anything.

You mean with Emet-Selch? Yeah. That was a good start. [...he sighs though.] I know that was the work of a person, at least. I want to try to find them and talk to them...I think we could work together on some things. But I have no idea where to start.

Hansa seemed to know something - apparently, he was told that it would be okay before he went up there, but he didn't know the details of what would happen.

...at least, that's what he told me, anyway. It could just be that he didn't know me well enough to say more.

That's what he told me, too. It was before he knew he would be the one selected to remove Emet-Selch, too. So who could have known...?

Probably whoever told him it would be okay is the one responsible for it.

Maybe. But I wonder why Hansa wouldn't tell somebody. Even Emet-Selch doesn't know who it is as far as I've heard.

Maybe he can't. If someone did you the favor of saving the life of someone you cared about, but asked you not to tell anyone, would you repay them by just telling anyone who asked who did it? Or would you keep their secret like they wanted?

I know the answer you're looking for is yes, but I think the rules of this place are a lot different than what we'd expect. [...but she has a point.] I think it would depend why they wanted to keep it a secret.

They probably have good reasons to. I want to know, but... Yoshizawa's killer is still out there, and there's still a lot about what happened to her that doesn't sit right with me.

I can't really blame whoever it is for wanting to keep it a secret. It seems like the sort of thing that could put a target on someone, with a killer like that running around.

Yeah. Whatever their reasons are I'm sure they're good ones. What we need to focus on is finding her killer just to question them. I want to know more about this splintering thing, and what the Leaders are asking people. That's the big thing we're missing.
